Established in 1956, Lincolnshire-based Spaldings is the UK and Ireland’s largest distributor of tillage aftermarket equipment, as well as an emerging player in professional groundcare, forestry and industrial products.
Previously owned by Japanese conglomerate Marubeni Corporation, Inspirit carved out the business in June 2022. Inspirit exited its investment in Spaldings in September 2025 following the sale of the business to Invicta Holdings Ltd — a JSE-listed investment group specialising in the wholesale and distribution of industrial consumables.
